Rodeo and Fiddle

Last weekend we went to a banjo and fiddle contest in Oxford NJ and it was a lot of fun. There were some good fiddle players there but I think the star was a little 6 year girl. I’m going to try and find her mom (she is also played the fiddle) so I can give her a picture.

I came across a little festival in Stillwater, NJ and they had a really little firetruck so I photographed it. Seems like I’m doing a lot of HDR stuff these days.

Finally, this past weekend there was a rodeo at the Shawnee Ski area in the Pocono’s so I’ll post a few of those.  Everything will be posted in one gallery so I’m not sure in what order they will be. Click on an image to enlarge.

Thanks for the rodeo pics Bob, they are awesome. See you soon when you are going to Al’s.

  2. Love the photo of our mini fire engine. The sky/clouds look magnificent! What filter(s) do you use for sky/clouds? Very impressive in this and in your other photos.
If you ever want to take photos of old stuff, come visit the Snowmobile Barn and antique collection on Waterwheel Farm in Fredon Twp. Dr. Tom forwarded your information and photos to us.

    • Hi Kathy,
Glad you liked the fire engine. It was done as an HDR, 3, or 5 (can’t remember) photographs taken at different exposures and then put together. Tom told me about the snowmobile barn, sounds very interesting! Maybe I’ll ask him to bring me by one day. Thanks for your nice comment. bob
