Editing Photographs

I started editing photographs when I was 12 years old in the darkroom, more years ago than I like to admit. My Father taught me the basics of the camera and the development and editing process.  I learned the zone system from a book. Although I use Photoshop and a digital camera today the basics are about the same. Sometimes knowing when to stop is the secret. The whole process is a personal one.

I had posted the B&W Sedona photograph in the previous post. I revisited it and did some further processing which I believe made a more dramatic image. Click image to enlarge.
